Sorrento Here you can walk through the old part of the town to see the marquetry, fine linens, leather goods and sample the famous 'limoncello' liqueur.Stroll around this very popular resort perched atop a seaside cliff like so many picturesque villages along the coast. Lots of choice for lunch venues.

 

 in the afternoon a visit to Herculaneum, with a private guide to discover this marvellous Roman coastal town nestled at the base of the volcano of Vesuvius. Marvel at this town and see evidence of the earlier excavations, walk down to sea level , visit the thermal spas, walk along the streets and call in at the splendid villas that once adorned the coastline
